Dear Mr. Persson,
It has been a real pleasure to be able to sit on the Board of Advisors of Narconon now for nearly two decades. I am proud to know that in just the last 10 years Narconon has reached over 20,000 drug addicts with its 38 substance abuse rehabilitation centers located now in 15 countries around the world - 14 of these centers located there in Europe, and most recently in Russia, Colombia, New Zealand and even inside the walls of the state prison located in the town of Ensenada, Mexico. I am also very proud that Narconon substance abuse prevention programs for children have reached close to a million school children during this time.
I know February 19th, 1996 was a milestone for Narconon. This was 30 years from the date that an inmate named William Benitez started Narconon inside of Arizona State Prison utilizing the highly successsful substance abuse rehabilitation program, developed by philosopher L. Ron Hubbard, with a group of 20 heroin addicted inmates.
Congratulations on 30 years of saving lives! Please thank all the staff of Narconons in Europe for their efforts and dedication in helping those addicted to alcohol and other drugs, and in preventing our children from ever starting down the terrible road of drug addiction.
